I just got my AV cords for my NES today in the mail but when I put the game in and press power the power button flashes between red and nothing and my tv flashes between black and gray. Does anyone know how to fix this?

1.) Make sure all cords are plugged in securely.

2.) Blow on cartridge and place inside the NES.

3.) Try moving the cart around while it's inside the NES while it's turned on and see if any changes occur.

Your NES may just be worn out...

Why not just play it another way?

Seriously, there are so many ways to play Donkey Kong.

1.) Download off VC
2.) Unlock in DK64's Frantic Factory
3.) Use Password in Animal Crossing (GCN)
4.) Emulate

for nostalgia purposes. Same reason I still have all of my dead GBC games.

Then why not save yourself from hyperventilation and just play it on VC?

No it doesn't, in fact, it's enhanced on the VC.

It's the same on VC.

<_< this reminds me of the people that think that Final Fantasy VII on PSN is worse than the PSX one, but they're the same.
