One of my few childhood memories was playing this on the Turbo-grafx. we had two controllers, (one was mostly broken) and seemingly every good TG game out there. (don't as me how my parents managed that even though they know little of gaming) anyway, here's a short explanation of this game: It acts like gauntlet but is much more. First off you can play with up to 5 people, (really) and it also acts like a rpg but isn't really. (you gain a level after each boss) You can choose between several classes with 2 abilities each: Warrior, Dwarf, Thief (fat), Witch, Warlock, and Bard (ability is to change the music ) The music is amazing for it's time:

and (I couldn't find it) the boss music is amazing. The main story behind it is that you go out and kill aliens. In medieval times. (you barely notice it)

But IMO, it is a great party RPG that everyone must defiantly play it. a bit old school, but a great buried treasure.

I've never played this before, I just checked out a video. You're right when you say it's like Gauntlet and I enjoyed that game. Looks like it could be a well spent game especially multiplayer!
