| Er, isn't that what Starmen.net does and has such a tedious time staying legal with? I'd be careful, Nintendo can be deadly if it resembles the real thing almost at all D: |

| Well I just mean if the character designs are too close it will be difficult legally anyway. I don't care if it's watercoloring, if it's beyond the more generic characters it'll be a risk, but then again tons of those things go under the big N's radar on sites like CafePress and I have a Starmen.net hoodie from the ancient days they were on there and the Starmen is an exact carbon copy... and as we all know, they're still in business now in some form or other (making a killing too) |

| Well if he's just taking a standard tee shirt and drawing on it, he's fine. It's just fanart then.
I'm surprised Starmen is even touching into that edgy water. For a place that is so concerned with legal issues and considers itself to be the only "mature" message board (I logged in there yesterday, I'm not even gonna repeat what was being discusses on their general board...), they're taking a rather large risk there.
But hey, that's my two cents. |

| Ohhhh, my bad, I'm sorry, I read that as him saying that he was trying to sell them DX Yes, you can make any t-shirt you want for yourself, I'm sorry XD I thought by support he meant like make a campaign with them or something. Yeah, Starmen seems to go a bit too far with it IMO. They try so hard to keep people from mentioning NES Reproductions or ROMS but they make unnoficial Nintendo merchandise and sell it on their official site... just a bit odd. And yeah, General Discussion is horrible. "General" means "strange and disturbing" to them, I'm sure of it. Not to mention a certain moderator... |

| Not to mention the legal minefield that is the fan translation. I'm sure they planned ahead, but still.
The only two things I shall praise starmen.net on are its Mother 3 fan translation and fanart. |
