Back at E3 2010, a Persona game was announced for the 3DS, but to this day it remains unknown what the game will be. At first many believed it could either be Persona 2 or Persona 4, but both games have since been announced for PSP & VITA.
There's a good chance it could be announced at TGS this year, so what do you think the 3DS Persona will be?

I'll go first...

Most likely scenario:

Persona 3DS
Yet another upgraded port of Persona 3. It's a safe bet, and guaranteed to make lots of money.

What I wish it would be:

Persona Reimagining
A reimagining of the original Persona game in the style of P3/P4 with Shadows, Social Links, Egor, and a new story.

That would ruin P1! Part of what makes that game so fascinating to me is how simple the story is, it seems to take a backseat while still playing a role in everything you do. And for social links, those are pretty much already in P1. Anytime you see your party members in the third person view, you can talk to them and learn all sorts of things that fleshes out their character and the story in general. The only thing it doesn't have over social links is gameplay rewards. And Igor...uh, he's already in it. o_O And, again, it wouldn't be P1 without the same story...or are you talking about a new sidestory? It already has the Snow Queen Quest, is another story path really necessary?

As for the 3DS game, I have no idea what it could be...It would be hilarious if it turned out to be P5.

P1 remake with the battle system And dungeons being upgraded to a P4 style.

Also let you take everyone with you on SEBEC quest like Canon of P2 Dictates.

Well I only have four, I'd buy it whatever it was. Persona 1 is so dated it is nearly unplayable.

I want a Persona 5 that takes place in the 3/4 universe, and builds upon both, for the PS3. I'd also like to see the whole

	He is a shadow, built off of someone's desire to appeal to people. He developed a Persona, and became a human in his own right.

Oh shit, that's right. Well, I'd still like to see the plot continued somehow, but it's anyone's guess where they would take it from here.

Igor is in the game, you know. He still ran the Velvet room, as he always did, and it's heavily implied Philemon is still behind a lot of the events in P3 and P4.

I know he's in the game, but he's not nearly as prominent a character.

Also, where is it implied that Philemon was behind the events of P3/P4? Because as far as I can see, aside from referencing The Nanjo Group, Mark, and Rumors in P3, P3/P4 seem to pretty much ignore the earlier games altogether.
