Sounds pretty sweet, I've never played the DQ games, but if this comes out in the US for $29.99 like the Mario 25th Anniversary Collection did, then I'll gladly pick up a copy myself.

| Urk. The grindiest of the DQ games. DQIII SNES looks very appealing though...
They should include Dragon Quests 1-7, and the non-DS remakes. Considering all but 7 were cartridge based, they could easily fit it on. God dammit. _________________ |

| DQI&II aren't too grindy, especially compared to the originals. And DQIII isn't that bad either.
regardless i have all these games already on my GBC with nicer graphics so I'll probably pass on it |

| Man, WTF?
Why is it that the only collection that has been good IMO have been things like the Megaman Collections and Sonic Collections (for console at least, not handheld)?
Sure the Megaman X Collection had a flaw in that the person making them wanted the versions to be what we got a glimpse of on the PSP with Maverick Hunter X, but it still had MMX 1-6 + some random racing game.
I mean lets compare really fast: Sonic Mega Collection -Sonic the Hedgehog 1 -Sonic the Hedgehog 2 -Sonic the Hedgehog 3 -Sonic & Knuckles (So you have Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Knuckles in Sonic 2, and that worthless practice game) -Sonic 3D Blast -Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball -Flicky -Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine -Ristar
Sonic Gems Collection -Sonic CD -Sonic R -Sonic: The Fighters -Sonic Spinball -Sonic The Hedgehog 2 GG -Sonic Chaos -Sonic The Hedgehog: Triple Trouble -Sonic Drift -Sonic Drift 2 -Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball GG -Tails Skypatrol -Tails Adventure -Vectorman -Vectorman 2

| Actually, I thought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection was badass.
It had like 48 games, IIRC, which is an INSANE value, especially considering to goes for like $10-$15 nowadays. Also, The Orange Box was really sweet as well, all it needed was Half-Life: Source and it would've been perfect. |

| I've wanted DQIII for I dunno HOW long, but I never could get it. I'd buy this for that game alone, but the others before it as well? Then MORE YES.
... that is, if we actually get it Western. |

Do the GBC Versions of DQ really have better graphics than the NES originals? I ask because AFAIK GBC was just a portable NES that displayed in more colors, and from the screenshots I've seen on GFAQs the NES Versions look better because it's got brighter colors. But then again, the pics are from Gamespot, who seemingly use a really shitty capture card since all of their screens look like garbage compared to the actual game...
Also, like I said, this collection also includes the SNES remakes of DQ I-III. |

I think the GBA version looks more detailed. |

| Well, regardless, if I have the money, I'll buy it. (If it even comes to the states.) |

It most likely will, seeing as SE has remade all the previously unreleased DQ games for DS and made sure they were localized. Besides, they said that they pretty much got the idea to make this from the Mario 25th Anniversary collection, and that sold alot better in the US & EU than it did in Japan, so I can't see why they wouldn't release it in the US/EU unless they're too lazy to translate the SNES Versions. |
