| I wonder if some Mario music cd and a booklet containing a bunch of potentially original never before seen Mario artwork is worth a $30 price tag in celebration of Mario's 25th anniversary?
(Really should be $25 at least IMO, I don't see how it would be worth that even, but at least they could say it is because of Mario being 25 years old) |

| Not to sound rude, but is an extra five dollars really all that fuss?
It's four games in one with bonus contest. Seems perfectly reasonable to me IMO. And SMW can be gotten on the VC, or heck, the GBA one if you want to use Luigi! =) |

| The price is bad in general, $25 is too much for a game that would normally just be $8 if Nintendo was going to be nice and put it on the virtual console (because it is just the SNES one), I can understand charging a little more than $8 because of the book/cd being put in, but not close to eight bucks for each game like the $30 is doing right now when I feel the main reason for a company to make a collection of products in the 1st place is to try and make people who didn't buy them originally because of price still get it.
I mean look at things like the Megaman Anniversary Collection or Capcom Classics Collection, if you were to buy those games by themselves you would be spending like $200+ or so I bet on just the Megaman ones.
The only reason I'm saying I would be ok with it being $25 is to mark how it is Mario's 25th anniversary. |

| Super Mario World wasn't included in the original Super Mario All-Stars, it was in Super Mario All-Stars and World, released a few years later close to the end of the SNES's life in the US.
Thus your argument doesn't really matter in THAT regard.
But I'd also say "why the fuck would nintendo put it on the VC" because then no one would buy the NES games for a total of 21 when they can get them all with shinier graphics for only eight bucks.
And the Game Boy Micro celebrating that five years ago wasn't 20 dollars, who why should this be?
And 21 dollars for the games with shinier graphics plus nine for a soundtrack and "history of mario" book or whatever seems like a great deal to me. |

Read my topic title, "re-releasing it again," I'm saying that Nintendo is fully capable of putting more on there but they won't because of a suck factor they have.

Read my 2nd comment please, I know how those other games have been on the VC for a while now, and there is no reason that this game should cost more than all of them put together even if it does have the shiny new graphics + save system because SMAS for the SNES was a good deal.
SMAS is a collection of games, a collection shouldn't cost more for the single thing then if you were to buy them by itself.

A gameboy Micro is a game system though, this is just a game. |

| It's the #1 item on my Christmas List.
I'm mainly only getting this game for the Soundtrack CD and Art Book. (Also because I'm a sucker for Limited Editions & Compilations)
I already own Super Mario All-Stars for SNES, and Super Mario World on VC/GBA, so I don't care about the lack thereof.
I really don't understand why anyone who wants SMW for the Wii doesn't already own the VC Version. (unless they don't have internet, but in which case, we'd never hear from them)
I can understand how SMW would make this a more complete collection, (hell, if I were in charge, this game would include Donkey Kong, SMB, SMB2, SMUSA, SMB3, SMW, and SM64 all for $25) but it isn't happening, so people need to let it go and move on.
If you want the game, then buy it. If not, then don't. Simple as that... |

| It's on Wii. They could've updated SOMETHING, but... nah XD Ahh well. Nintendo has my forgiveness. _________________ |

| They don't have mine, I'm sick of them re-releasing their games and charging new game prices for them. Please tell me why Nintendo is one of the only companies out there where a simple expansion pack has to be full price again? |

I'm aware of that and have no desire to buy it, however why can't I complain about it? |

| Because bitching like this has no value or merit. Why do you complain about things constantly? _________________ |
