| Because it seems it would go well here, and to fit the spirit of the "What are you..." topics, this is a topic to discuss the games you are playing at this current point in your history. When you list a game, feel free to give a reason as to why the game is so awesome that you would be playing it. Or give a shout out to that awesome game that you've played before, but haven't a whole lot to say about. Or how noob-tubers wrecked your day. Or how the graphics in that one NES game make you squee. Or post here when you feel the urge to post a topic that says, "THIS GAME IS AWESOME. DISCUSS." Et cetera. Basically, the stuff vg-related that wouldn't really reach the bar the other VG topics do. _________________ |

| To give a bit of an example, I've recently discovered a game called Spelunky. For those who don't know, it's a rogue platformer, meaning the levels you encounter are randomly generated, with traps and monsters in a different location each time. It's very difficult, esp since you have to start all over when you die. T.T I can't get past the second area. >> _________________ |

| I'm playing Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light.
It's probably the most fun I've had with a RPG in a while. |

| I thought about making this topic before, I guess it's fitting that Tret finally did. =P
I'm playing Silent Hill Shattered Memories and Cladun.
SH: Freaking amazing. My sister and I are in love with it. After the second Nightmare I was certain there was no way for them to be creepy anymore but they manage to spice it up just enough that I get caught off guard. Brilliant.
Cladun: I bought it for the character creator and it does not disapoint. I've made tons of characters and am having a blast. |

| Bad Company 2.
I feel touched, I was manning the minigun of a heli and blew up about 3 enemy vehicles in a few seconds, and then parachuted down with the guy (ditching the heli AND letting it fall, of course :3) and we somehow caused a big enough destraction to draw the whole team while all the other dudes (10 of em') snuck in and planted bombs on the objective.
He messaged me saying it was "smexysauce"
It was. |

| Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
I'm reserving my judgment on the game until I've completed it, but so far I've got mixed feelings...
Somethings about it I love, others I hate... Sometimes I'm really happy with it, other times I wanna chuck my Dual Shock 3 at the wall.
So we'll see how I feel about the game as a whole once I've beaten it.

I had no idea Spelunky was freeware until I looked it up on TVTropes. I've seen it on Youtube many times before, and it looks like a fun and addicting game.
BTW, according to said videos, you can pay a shortcut digging man to create... yep, shortcuts, that lead to each new area. You'll have to pay him more than one game to meet his needs (Your donations to him carry over between deaths), unless you're THAT good, but eventually you can skip right to level 5 or wherever a new area starts. |

| Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (PSone)
I suddenly felt like playing an old school JRPG, and I never finished Lunar 2, (hell, I barely got started!) so I decided to pick that back up.
It's a real gem, shame it's so expensive. (Thank God I found it for so cheap, but If only GameArts would remake it for PSP like the 1st Lunar then everyone could play it...)
I'm still playing Castlevania: LoS as well, but I kinda wanna conserve it, cause I'm burning through it, and I want it to last until Fallout New Vegas arrives. |

Oh yes, very addictive.
Yeah, I found the Tunnel Man. I'm working on clearing Area 3 now. The price for the shortcut has gone up as well. Area 3 is very annoying, and the levels are short despite their difficulty.... So I can tell this is going to take a while. XD_________________ |
