I never sell my games...if I didn't want 'em, I would not have bought 'em in the first place. Razz Besides, what if I want to play them again later?

But as for the issue at hand, all these technicalities...and they wonder why piracy is an issue.

I think this'll be one of those laws that are there but nobody cares about anyways...

Probably.

Oh, found this:

Not for resale means that the game can't be put on the shelf separate from it's bundle and sold at full price as if it is a brand new game. Games with 'Not for resale' on them usually come in bundles like certain copies of Ratchet and Uncharted.

The game/bundle is initially sold to the retailer (Gamestop). What 'Not for resale' implies is that the bundle cannot be taken apart and sold as individual items by the retailer, which would generate excess revenue for them, but Sony/M$/Nintendo would be cheated out of their income because they issued a bargain package and selling the parts individually would defeat the purpose of the bundle, which is to move systems.

'Not for resale' is just to remind retailers that certain items are to be sold together as packages and that they are the only parties liable if not. What gets done with those items after they are sold to the consumer doesn't matter because the business cycle has been completed...

EA, Take-Two, and THQ...greedy? NO! /Sarcasm
Meh, I really don't care... I rarely buy games from them anyway, and even if a law were passed that no one could sell games used, it wouldn't matter because there's no way they could enforce it. You'd still be able to buy used games at Garage Sales, Flea Markets, Craig's List, etc.

I usually only buy games I'm certain that myself or my bros will like, even my impulse buys are 9 times out of 10 games I'm sure one of us will enjoy.

I learned my lesson back in the N64 era when I traded in a bunch of my NES games at Funcoland (now called Gamestop) and only got like $6 for them. So no, I don't sell/trade my games.

I do. Because I like the extra cash.

But yeah, it's THQ, EA, and Take-Two being idiots again right?

That's ridiculous. I have no words. WTF Face

I have never sold a game or anything related to video games, ever. I almost always buy second-hand games. I figure if I'm going to have an expensive hobby, I might as well cut corners where possible Wink
