The newest IP from NIS, Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku (translates as "Absolute Hero Modding Project"), is coming to america. The plot is about, well, the "Unlosing Ranger" going to fight the villian "Darkdeath Evilman" who is trying to kidnap the Super Baby. And the Unlosing Ranger gets hit by a car. And dies. Then some guy comes by (the silent-protaganist Main Character) who was going grocery shopping and the ranger gives him his transformation belt. And the guy goes to fight the bad guy. And then he dies too. And the rest of the plot IDK.

But the game is a rouge-like (that's just as unforgiving as many old-school ones) where you...


1)Highly customizable superhero (From head to toe)
2)Build your own secret superhero base
3)Make runs through various randomized dungeons with puzzles and traps


The game comes out for PSP next month. Day 1 for me. I love the whole Toku parody it has going and rouge likes, so yeah.

The main character even has a theme like the old-school themes from 70's Toku...

But as I train in terrifyingly randomly generated, randomly morphing dungeons, mix and match custom equips, and forbiddingly modify my body to prepare to fight you in the last battle, I might as well say something more contributive to this thread. We all know NIS RPGs are automatically awesome, plus I love how the trailer pokes fun at itself.

Yes. On purpose they did something like not saving your inventory data. You need to keep it in the warehouse before saving if you want to keep it. Prevents "OH SHAT I DIED BETTER RESET SO I DON'T LOSE MY STUFF"

The more Youtube vids of this game I see, the more I'm considering holding back on PSP2 or Cladun to get this instead. IT'S THAT AWESOME. (Plus, I still need to deliver JUSTICE on you for making this thread before I did, which I cannot do without FORBIDDEN BODY MODIFICATIONS)
