Blog number 3! The other two of which might be stalled for a long time. Rangnarok just because I'm getting distracted by this other MMORPG (But I'm not canceling it) and Cave Story because Balfrog is impossible to kill with 3HP and no missiles that the Hard Mode forces you to be stuck with forever. (Likely canceled forever).
So, I was just looking around at stuff on Gaia (Which I have joined recently as Cedi Fonei; zOMG! is not blog compatable IMO, nor is Gaia itself) and an ad mentioned a new MMORPG made by Square Enix (Gasp! JRPG fanboy scream!) called Fantasy Earth Zero. I Googled it, and before long I found a new MMO to get addicted to. The thing is, however, I've already started it. A lot. I can't even remember everything I've done, so I'll explain some things.
ABOUT THE GAME
Before I blab on about what I do remember from playing the game, since it's sorta new, I'll go over some of its features. Basically, you have only 3 classes to choose from- Wariror, Scout (Mix of thief and archer), and Sorceror. The clases work like Rock-Paper-Sciscors (War->Sco, Sco->Sor, Sor->War). Meh, not much unique there. But it gets better. After the turtorial (Which can be skipped, complete with the expected EXP and equips form the turtorial itself) you can enter PvP wars. At the start, you have to align yourself with one of 5 nations. You can't go to war with your own nation, obvoiusly, but any other is fair game. Each nation keeps track of the territory it owns, and the only way to get territory is through- that's right- WAR! More on that later. War is the best way to get EXP, but you can also grind on monsters. Not that they give much EXP, but it's the best way to get Gold. Rings are a secondary currency you get from winning wars, and Arbs are the NX of FEZ- No real world money, no rare items for you. Or me, for that matter.
DAY 1- NATURAL DIFFICULTIES
So I started a few days ago. I made a Sorceror named Cedimagi, and I plan to make a Warrior some other time. I aligned him with Yelsord, governed by an old wizard guy with a fairy assisstant who would remind anyone of Link and Navi. Poor His Majesty Whose First Name I Cannot Recall. I was taught by an NPC how to fight- only skills can attack, but luckily each class- even mages- get one skill which costs no Power (MP equivalent) at all and acts as a basic attack. Apparently, I'm good at shooting things and blowing them up when I get AoE skills (Which I have, but not on Day 1). I kill some monsters and reach the garrison. I get a letter from my king (With FULL VOICE ACTING), which also has a few words from Ella, the aforementioned fairy assisstant, and proves my point that she annoys my king a lot. At least the other factions don't have rulers who are annoyed by thier assisstants. But I have no regrets in choosing Yelsord. I prepare some turtorial misisons and- OH GAWD A SEVERE WEATHER ALERT! (Click)
DAY 2- WE NOW RETURN TO YOUR SCHEDUELED PROGRAMMING
After school the next day, I had a chance to resume my turtorials. The general asks me to deliver some letters. I'll make this brief- I have to kill monsters to activate T-crystals, and teleport to places. Eventually, I reach a professor who offers to teach me about classes or skills, and one of them quizes me annoyingly. And I learn how to sidestep and jump REEEAALLY high because this is Fantasy Earth Z(ero)! That's what you do for the Red and Blue Letters. The yellow one, however, is much less tedious to deliver- it's completing his tasks you get afterward which take a while. These Yellow Letter missions help you learn how to fight in the PvP Wars. Or rather, FactionvFaction, since you can never fight against your own faciton members. Basically, you have to deplete the enemy's fort's HP to zero to win. However, only Chimeras (A summon, more on those soon) can attack them directly. Usually, you need to attack in other ways. In the 1st misison, you learn how to deal Territorial damage- the more territory you have on the battlefield, the more damage the enemy takes per second. You increase territory by building Obelisks or Eclispes. Mine for crystals, and when you can't get any more, ask to trade with others. I think you can only mine as many crystals as your level, I'm not sure. Use crystals to build, but you can only build on your own territory, Thankfully, that's what Obelisks are for (That and damage). You can buld stuff to summon and protect, too. Then you learn how to summon KNights in the next misison. Basically, your character TRANSFORMS into the unit you summon. And yes, you have total control over them and can move anyway like in the normal character mode, only you have powerful Skills to use. You need crystals and the proper built structure to summon. Knights are strong against other summons, such as the Giants you have to kill for this 2nd Mission. And the Giants you get to use in the 3rd misison, where you get to shoot buildings down with ease. Why Giants shoot cannons, IDK. I think they're more suited for fisticuffs, but Knights already got close range combat. At least you can stomp. A~nd the last mission, you get to summon a Dragon. Awesome!

Commander: But you see, Dragons are a apin in the rear to summon. First, you need a rare item called a Dragon Soul...
... less, but still awesome!

Commander: ... and you need to die.
*Gulp* O_O
Commander; Even after that, it's all up to luck.
Commander: OK, ready?
*Is headshot with a bow and arrow and transforms into a DRAGON!*
Commander: Wow, first try!
So you were planning to kill me multiple times until that worked?
Mmmmm, no wonder dragons eat humans. They're tasty, especially ones wearing metal armor owned by military commanders! Now, what was I doing? Oh yeah, I gotta fly up and breathe fireballs at the enemy. Yep, that's another awesome thing about dragons in this game. You can actually control thier flight, horizontally and vertically! And of course, you get to breathe exploding fireballs. I also get another Dragon Soul as a reward so I can do that again. But so far, I've died a lot in Wars and didn't transform yet. I must require a LOT of luck. That's all of the turtorial, now onto the actual game!
DAY 3- STUFF HAPPENED YESTERDAY BUT I FORGOT WHAT
Yeah, I did some wars yesterday, but I forget the details of them. Yesterday was day 2, BTW. So today I got on and... OMG! Yelsord's main island is being attacked by Netzvare! Wow, Yelsord is sorta pathetic in terms of territory owned. I MUST DO SOMETHING... TO HELP MY NATION... EVEN THOUGH I AM VERY N00BISH! Luckily, all that territory was recovered today... but for how long, IDK. Maybe it's already stolen again. I hope not. I took a lot of damage grinding, so I healed while mining from crystals (You heal gradually while you mine at crystals). Some jerk made fun of me by saying I'm a n00b who just has to use crystals to heal. True, yes, but does that give him/her (I forgot) to act like that? They used to do it too, I'm sure, and I wanted to use the crystals to help win the war. IDK why I didn't block them, but hopefully I'll never see them again. I forget how much I did, but eventually we won that war. Later, when I browsed shops and wondered when I can afford that blue hood with Rings (Cause I like blue hair, that's close enough in this game) I was invited to someone's Corps- the Guilds of FEZ, I guess. It was still new and Rank 1, but I accepted. I chatted a bit and I'm sure I'll be fighting alongside my Corps members soon. I fought in some more wars and stuff, and we won back our territory. We must have REVENGE and take thier land in turn! And I forget exactly how everything else happened. Too much homework...
THE END OF DAYS 1-3
If I do anymore tonight, it'll go in Day 4, in tommorow's post.
