My worst fears have been realized...Laura Bailey is doing Ren's English Voice in Fragile.

Thank God it has the option to play the game in Japanese with English Subtitles...

Johnny Yong Bosch as Seto + Laura Bailey as Ren = EPIC FAIL

I'll still play in english

I'll take VA (that in actuality isn't bad) over none.

I had no problem with the VA in that

even then I don't care about VA anyway, it's all gameplay for me.

It really isn't worse than Chaos Wars. No really >_>

VA is mostly a waste of time, and annoying as hell. I never understood why they bother with it, it's very expensive and often doesn't add
anything except pissing you off at how bad it mostly is. Now some games do have really good VA but those are rare exceptions.

Your Point being? Chaos Wars is widely acknowledged as the game with the worst English VA of all time.
And furthermore, the reason why the VA in Chaos Wars was so bad is because they weren't real Voice Actors!
O3 Entertainment went over budget after doing the localization, so they didn't have the money to hire real Voice Actors and ended up having their family members do the VA.

Laura Bailey is an actual Voice Actor by profession, she's just bad at it...

Johnny Yong Bosch did Yosuke Hanamura & the MC in Persona 4, so he's cool with me. It's just the fact that he sounds alot like Emil in Fragile, which was simply an annoying voice.

Wait...what? Didn't Laura Bailey do Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist AND Rise from Persona 4? If so, she's dang good, IMO.

Oh god, not THOSE two! Shenmue's mediocre voice acting is better then the trashy VA they did in ToS2!

Dammit, where's the likes of Apollo Smile, Jennifer Hale and Cam Clarke when you need 'em?!

Rise's voice was too cutesy and annoying... I had no idea she did Lust though, so maybe she just sucks at doing the voices for young women/girls?
