I've always wanted to play this game, but up until now never had the option because it was so damn expensive.

It's come out on Sega CD, (which I don't own) PSone, (too expensive) and GBA. (Wasn't aware until now)

Now it's coming to PSP in what people are referring to as The Definitive Version.
The game costs $30, but I'm thinking that if the Sega CD version ever comes to VC (which I bet they will considering that Turbo Grafx CD games did) I can probably download the original for $8-$10.

However, the PSP Version is on actual physical media, and people are saying it's the most complete version to date.

So has anyone here played it?
And if so, how is it?
Is it massively overrated like Final Fantasy VII & Chrono Trigger, or is it actually even 1/10 as good as people say?

And lastly, if you were in my shoes, would you get the PSP Version or wait on a possible VC release?

I played the DS version and it was pretty good, only rather short for me.... I haven't played many others though.

DS Version? You mean Lunar Dragon Song?

It's not the same game, nor is it even canon to the rest of the series from what I hear. My bro owns that one, didn't care for it much.

Lunar, the series? Yeah, it's worth a shot. GBA version sucks though. I had the Deluxe box of Lunar 2. Came with a gansta medallion.

Dragon Song sucks. I'm getting it for the PSP, so I'll tell you my thoughts.
