This is the opening theme from season 6 of my favorite TV Show ever, Mystery Science Theater 3000!

The show was about some mad scientists who launch a hapless average joe, (Joel Hodgeson, then later Mike Nelson) into outerspace, and force him to watch terrible movies in an attempt to find a movie so bad that it will drive whoever watches it mad, so they can use it to take over the world.
The show started back in the early 90's starring comedian Joel Hodgeson, with Mike Nelson as the lead writer for the show.

Anyway, the mad scientists launch Joel into space, but being a brilliant inventor, Joel invents himself some robot friends to keep him company.
Together Joel and the bots watch terrible movies and make fun of them in an attempt to keep their sanity.

Later on in the show, Joel Hodgeson switched places with lead writer Mike Nelson, and personally I like the Mike Nelson episodes better.

The show was incredibly fun to watch, and was on the Sci-Fi Channel up until 2004.

Season 1-5 had a different Theme Song, as did Season 8-9. but Season 6 was my favorite.

MST3K was an excellent show, and I highly recommend that anyone here who hasn't seen it check it out.
Pretty much every episode is available on Youtube, but you'll have to watch it in parts.

I highly recommend that you start with the following Episode , as it's among the funniest in the whole series...
